The ‘pros’ in the mercenary community more than likely stayed away from this conflict, they’re still alive because they know how to evaluate risks. You didn’t see professional warriors fighting on the side of the Taliban or any other conflict which went up against the forces of a nuclear superpower because no matter how much they promise pay you, it’s useless of you don’t comeback alive.
The ones flooding in initially are the weekend Reddit warriors, the extremely naive do-gooders and the usual thrill seekers who wanted to get a selfie on the front for upvotes on tic-tok and instagram.
Some of them did get a selfie before the body bags were zipped up and shipped out for disposal.
Nobody with a brain wants to die for the cabal who could careless about what happens to their cannon fodder.
