Absolutely Brian. And we, the innocent well-meaning citizens were told from childhood that the authorities have our best interests in mind, and are there to help, and we should cooperate.

We must NOT "trust" any police authority. I learned this first hand some years ago.
I know Trump always lauds the "men in blue", and I have always respected law and order and truth. But the sad fact is there are far too many corrupted men in positions of power.
Being "represented" by counsel does not necessarily mean that the counsel was present as happened with Flynn. And even if they were, no counsel worth their salt would have allowed their client to fall into this kind of a trap unless, of course, they had themselves been compromised by the FBI thugs.
