If anyone has the capabilities of analyzing the ‘firehose’ of data it would be Musk.

He’ll need a team of data scientists was well as possibly the help of some AI specialists plus a large data center. At an average of 500 million tweets a day and the associated metadata and geolocation tags that’s going to be massive undertaking.

The main issue will the possibility of accidental doxxing of users, the meta and geolocation data is I think covered under User privacy agreements and I can’t see Musk simply turning over any of this data legally to anyone else as it’s outside of the scope of his original request to determine the percentage of bots on Twitter.

Most commercially sold geolocation data has been anonymized to some extent so the real ID of the user is not included in the data.

The reason I say this is because Phillips sounds like he would be interested in access to this data in support of his investigations. I don’t think Musk can acknowledge this offer in anyway even if he were sympathetic to Phillips objectives.
