Apple and Google can remove the app from their stores. They can also set their phones to block the Trump URLs to prevent the sites from being used in a browser. We The People will then have to learn how to use VPN - just like they do in China.
Musk will need to go in whole hog on this because he needs a profitable business model to win in space. He doesn't have other integrated revenues streams like Amazon (who is also launching satellites with a goal to control the 4th industrial revolution through tight coordination and orchestration of automated services). I hope they have a master strategist that really knows what they're doing, the funds required, and the ability to execute at "warp speed."
I like the optimism, and I hope you're right... I'm on the fence about Musk - but he's just one guy. I suspect that in tandem with these developments the Trump Acquisition move will jump in and buy up a lot of the existing infrastructure anyway as the legacy outfits prices crash under the weight of their own criminality, stupidity and hubris. We are cursed to be in very interesting times indeed.

Regardless of whether you have an internet connection, if Google and Apple block your app you have a real problem. Not everyone cares to learn how to side load apps on Android, and Apple won't even allow it. Now Truth Social could avoid apps and do everything from a browser if necessary. Or perhaps they have other ideas we have not yet considered.
So one piece of the puzzle is already coming to fruition. Good call Brian. Now, how to get around the app censoring issues without having to make Truth Social entirely browser based?
