HEY U.S. INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY: NEXT TIME JUST FILE A FOIA REQUEST!

After the US intel community delivered a report on COVID-19 origins claiming no evidence proved it came from the Wuhan lab...The Intercept did some journalism

Well I didn’t see this one coming.

After the Biden White House announced months ago that the US intelligence community was going to thoroughly investigate the origins of the COVID-19 virus, specifically to determine whether or not it came from a leak from the lab in Wuhan, China, the findings of that investigation were recently announced.

I’m paraphrasing here. “It’s plausible the virus came from the lab. But we can’t prove it and there’s no evidence that US taxpayer’s money was used to fund any coronavirus research in Wuhan.”

From the New York Post:

Apart from the origin of the virus, whether it spread from a natural source or from a lab leak, was the issue of whether or not U.S. taxpayer’s money was sent to the Wuhan lab in China to fund gain-of-function research there.

Dr. Anthony Fauci has been stridently insisting for months that the claim any gain-of-function coronavirus research in Wuhan was paid for with U.S. taxpayer’s money is a ‘fantasy’. He got into a heated exchange with Senator Rand Paul [R-KY] about this:

You would think that during it’s supposedly extensive review of the virus origins and whether or not it came from the Wuhan lab, the U.S. intelligence agencies would have looked into this claim that U.S. money was sent to that lab to engage in exactly the same kind of viral experimentation that would produce something like the COVID-19 virus.

Nobody seems to mention this in the summary report.

Which makes what just happened extremely embarrassing. Because the very far left-leaning news media outlet, The Intercept, just got 900+ documents from the National Health Institute [NIH] in response to filing a Freedom of Information Act [FOIA] request in court.

And right there in the 900 documents it clearly shows that the NIH and Fauci were indeed sending hundreds of thousands of our taxpayer dollars to the CCP scientists in Wuhan who were tinkering with and doing gain-of-function experiments on coronaviruses.

I don’t see how Fauci recovers from this. Back in May he just pounded the table and yelled at Senator Paul that he had no proof and didn’t know what he was talking about.

If he dares to come testify again, Fauci will find it much harder to do the table-pounding act when Paul will be armed with documents that came from the NIH itself which exhaustively detail how much taxpayer’s money down to the dollar was used for the exact kind of bat virus research in Wuhan that Fauci has claimed for months on the record and under oath that the NIH never funded.

It could be Fauci has been given enough rope over the past few months to hang himself.

We’ll see what happens.
