Did The National Archives Obstruct An Ongoing Federal Investigation Into The Biden Classified Documents Scandal?
Why Did The National Archives Remain Silent About The 9 Boxes of Biden Documents It Was Holding Back?
There's so much going on with multiple House Committees wringing massive admissions from witnesses the past couple of days on things like the origin of the COVID-19 virus and the illegal suppression of Americans First Amendment rights via corporate proxy that something truly massive slipped under most people's radar:
So what are we go glean from these facts?
Senators Chuck Grassley & Ron Johnson decided back on Feb. 24 to send the National Archives a very specific letter containing detailed questions about NINE BOXES of documents taken from Joe Biden's office at the Penn Biden Center. From the questions the Senators were asking - very detailed questions - Acting National Archivist Debra Steidel Wall realized the jig was up.
Yesterday the National Archives responded to the Senator's letter by making a STUNNING SERIES OF ADMISSIONS.
Not because they WANTED TO.
But because THEY HAD TO.
The admissions the National Archives made in response to the Grassley/Johnson letter:
They became aware that Biden's personal counsel had removed 9 boxes of documents from the Penn Biden Center and taken them to his own office.
The National Archives retrieved the 9 boxes from Biden's counsel on November 9, 2022.
The National Archives then SAT on these 9 boxes of documents and did nothing with them for the past 4 1/2 months. They have not searched the boxes for classified documents.
The key admission from the National Archives is the THIRD ONE.
The one where they ADMITTED IN WRITING that as the entire JOE BIDEN CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS SCANDAL BLEW UP ALL OVER THE MEDIA in February, they were sitting on 9 boxes of documents from the SAME OFFICE the first cache of classified documents were found in, and they have AVOIDED searching these 9 boxes for any additional classified material.
You may recall there's an on-going Special Counsel investigation being led by Robert Hur into the Biden Classified Documents scandal. A scandal that was so explosive it got extensive national coverage in the news media for the entire month of February.
The scandal was kept in the news because immediately following the revelation by CBS News in late January of the first cache of classified documents discovered in Biden’s office at the Penn Biden Center back on Nov. 2 just before the midterm elections, two MORE caches of classified documents were quickly discovered at Biden’s home in Delaware in early February.
While reports say the DOJ's Inspector General, Michael E. Horowitz was alerted to the 9 boxes of Biden documents that the National Archives were holding, I haven't seen any reports that the Hur Special Counsel's office was notified.
Did Hur find out about these 9 boxes of unsearched Biden documents at the same time the rest of us did? If he did, I can’t imagine he’d be too happy about that. Could Acting National Archivist Debra Steidel Wall have a subpoena from the Special Counsel’s Office in her near future?
I **suspect** it won't be long before we see something either from the US House of Representatives or the DOJ IG's office or from the Hur SCO itself that forced this disclosure from the National Archives about these boxes being held back and not searched **during an ongoing national Biden family scandal**.
Absolutely NOTHING would prohibit either Horowitz, Grassley or Johnson from alerting the Hur SCO to the existence of these 9 hidden boxes.
The National Archives knew the jig was up, the holding back of these unsearched boxes was about to be dropped by somebody [Johnson, Grassley, Horowitz, Hur, even Biden counsel Patrick Moore are all among the possible candidates who could have dropped it] and the best course of action remaining to it was doing a full confession itself as a damage control measure.
Now that the existence of the 9 unsearched boxes has been publicly acknowledged, the follow up questions can begin:
Who will, after more than 4 months, finally search the boxes to ensure there aren’t any new classified documents in them?
When was the Hur SCO alerted to the existence of these 9 boxes?
Why did the National Archives remain steadfastly silent about these 9 boxes it was holding back as the Biden classified documents scandal raged in the news media? Was The National Archives engaging obstruction of justice by hiding evidence relevant to a growing national scandal from investigators?
All very important questions. Let’s see over the course of the next few days if anybody in the national news media bothers to ask any of them.
